Lion & Mouse Tales
Publishing has been publishing books for 11 years now. With 5 children's
picture books lining the shelves and the first of a series of junior
fiction novels it has been very busy indeed. The books are available on

or at the bookstores. The new junior fiction novel has a curriculum-based

Author/Artist: Mary-Jane Martin
A born storyteller, writer and illustrator,
Mary-Jane can be found sharing her stories, music and songs in
communities, schools and festivals throughout Canada and United States.
"I have always had a love for children and enjoy
writing and illustrating humorous stories for them. Featured in all of my
picture book tales are two amusing characters known simply as Lion & Mouse. The
pair often highlights an event in the story and their personalities reflect that
of myself – the energetic, industrious mouse and the lively performer – Lion."
To
her credit, Mary-Jane’s work includes five published picture books, the first
novel in her junior fiction series with the second nearing completion and a
number of published cartoon panels.
Mary-Jane has also added a variety of artwork to her
